Kere Book

Kere is the name by which locals in Bangalore call their man-made lakes.
The man made lakes in Bangalore are called 'Kere' by the locals there. They all have a unique and exciting history to themselves; from their origin, to their role in human history and their contribution to the ecological balance.

But how to convey this to the pre-teens? 

My book 'The Suffering Lake' sings the ballad of that. Its a sarcastic take on the miserable conditions of lakes that we are responsible for.
